Farm-to-table restaurants abound in the Berkshires, with chefs and proprietors proudly showcasing local produce and meats and cheeses—and sourcing them on the menu. These and other establishments are critical to supporting local farms, and you’ll be doing your part too whenever you frequent them.

Image from the Hosta Hill site, one of the many great purveyors featured in our book.
There are also purveyors of edible products that provide an additional (and predictable) revenue stream for their farm partners—and you with ways to savor the growing season year-round with flavorful pickles and preserves and other delicious items. Look for them at farmers’ markets and food shops as well as many of these restaurants.
