About the Region
The Berkshires—a region in western Massachusetts that encompasses neighboring Connecticut, Vermont, and New York—is known for being on the forefront of the farm-to-table movement, with fertile farms dotting the pastoral landscape. It also boasts many outdoor recreational activities, world-class literary and cultural attractions, and breathtaking scenery, making it a favorite four-season destination—and a wonderful region in which to live, work, and play.
We hope you will find plenty of incentives to visit the area and partake of all it has to offer, namely farm-fresh food provided by our dedicated local farmers.
